Presentation of the 3DSPEC project at The International Fair of Mining, Power Industry and Metallurgy Katowice 2017

29 August - 1 September 2017 - The project was promoted at the The International Fair of Mining, Power Industry and Metallurgy. Place Katowice, Poland.

KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology was one the more than 400 exhibitors present at the event, and  presented the research and technical offer prepared jointly with industrial partners.

Information about the 3DSPEC project was also presented. Visitors were able to familiarize themselves with the scope and objectives of the project. 3D printouts of a new machine design from ITG KOMAG offer were also presented. Thanks to the use of 3D printing technology it was possible to present new design to visitors, which otherwise could not be presented at the fair - due to its size.
