W procesie drukowania obiektu wykorzystuje się światło, które emitowane jest przez specjalnie przystosowany projektor, a nie wiązkę lasera.

**DLP** -  a method in  fast prototyping technology that resembles stereolithography, in which  layers of resin  are cured by light radiation.  In the printing process of an object  the light  emitted by a specially adapted projector is used, not a laser beam.
